Euroclear announces requirements for transactions involving Russian counterparties

The Central Securities Depository informs that starting from 9 March 2022, based on the requirement of Euroclear for transactions/operations involving Russian counterparties, an attestation form shall be sent for orders to place/withdraw financial instruments to/from the nominal holding of the Central Securities Depository, where the place of settlement is Euroclear.

The attestation form must be filled in in English and sent through the Depositor AWP to each of the orders.

The Central Securities Depository shall not be liable in any way for any damage, loss or delay in the commissioned processing resulting from Euroclear’s requirement. The processing time of the above orders in the Central Securities Depository may increase due to the manual processing of attestation forms.
