Changes to Rules of Execution of Certain Types of Banking Operations, included in the Code of Rules of the Central Securities Depository, will become effective from December 20, 2012

The amendments # 4 (the changes) to Rules of Execution of Certain Types of Banking Operations (the Rules), approved by the decision of the Board of Directors of Central Securities Depository JSC (the Central Securities Depository) at the meeting held on October 09, 2012, have been agreed with the Committee for the Control and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 12, 2012.

The changes specify an exclusion of the norm from the Rules about the need to make a decision by the Board of Directors of the Central Securities Depository in order to open a bank account in recordkeeping organizations and nonresident banks, which are central securities depositories in concordance with laws of the states legal entities of which are given recordkeeping organizations and nonresident banks.

Mentioned changes will become effective from December 20, 2012.
